One thing that anyone who hangs around the ranch will tell you, we are always trying to make improvements!
From improving stall turnouts to adding hitching posts, something is always “in progress”.
Our latest efforts have been working on the actual stalls themselves.
Some have been cosmetic improvements, others rebuilding walls and improving safety for the horses.
Our latest undertaking was completely tearing down and restructuring the stalls/covers along Shane Drive.
Perhaps the oldest section of the ranch, the roadside stalls needed an update, as well as a redesign to maximize the space and control water runoff.
The toughest part of this project was to demolition!
New stall covers were constructed with 3 side walls for protection from sun, wind, rain and snow.
New stalls are 12 feet by 12 feed with corrugated sidewalls.
We have also started working on existing stalls, carrying the theme across the ranch.
